I am an experienced software developer and an avid computer programmer. In my freetime you can find me running, attending a Bitcoin MeetUp, or exploring uncharted territory in the mountains.
I am currently a Software Developer at Grey Matters Defense Solutions where I am supporting the development of a web app used by military analysts. I am proramming in Java (Spring) on the backend and Typescript (Angular) on the frontend. In addition, I have experience in the following web and programming languages/libraries: Python, Django (MVC), C#, C++, JavaScript, React.js, Docker, HTML, and CSS. I also enjoy using the .NET Framework/CORE MVC and MS SQL Server, among others.
My professional background consists of four years of Systems Engineering experience, including familiarity with the Agile Software Development Model and tools. Most notably, I was the Lead Software Factory Tester for my company's sophisticated mapping software suite.
